3 judges score the bout with a 10 point must system.
All bouts are 3 rounds - 2 minutes per round.
T.C.F. Championship bouts are 5 rounds - 3 minutes per round.
Fighters are scored on aggression, effective striking, grappling and cage control.
WAYS TO WIN:
1. Knockout or Technical Knockout
2. Tap Out or Verbal Submission
3. Doctor or Referee Stoppage
4. Judges Decision
FOULS
1. Butting with the head.
2. Eye gouging of any kind.
3. Biting.
4. Hair pulling.
5. Fish hooking.
6. Groin attacks of any kind.
7. Putting a finger into any orifice or into any cut or laceration on an opponent.
8. Small joint manipulation.
9. Striking to the spine or the back of the head.
10. Striking downward using the point of the elbow.
11. Throat strikes of any kind, including, without limitation, grabbing the trachea.
12. Clawing, pinching or twisting the flesh.
13. Grabbing the clavicle.
14. Kicking the head of a grounded opponent. (Either Fighter)
15. Kneeing the opponent while grounded. (Either Fighter)
16. Stomping a grounded opponent.(Either Fighter)
17. Kicking to the kidney with the heel.
18. Spiking an opponent to the canvas on his head or neck.
19. Throwing an opponent out of the ring or fenced area.
20. Holding the shorts or gloves of an opponent.
21. Spitting at an opponent.
22. Engaging in an unsportsmanlike conduct that causes an injury to an opponent.
23. Holding the ropes or the fence.
24. Using abusive language in the ring or fenced area.
25. Attacking an opponent on or during the break.
26. Attacking an opponent who is under the care of the referee.
27. Attacking an opponent after the bell has sounded the end of the period of unarmed combat.
28. Flagrantly disregarding the instructions of the referee.
29. Interference by the corner.
30. Throwing in the towel during competition.
31. In the event of a foul & an injury occurs that limits one fighter, the limited fighter will be offered a period of 5 minutes to recuperate, if after the 5 minutes the fouled fighter cannot continue, the fighter that committed the foul will be disqualified.
32. Timidity, including, without limitation, avoiding contact with an opponent, intentionally or consistently dropping the mouthpiece or (faking an injury.)
TCF - SUBMISSION WRESTLING RULES
TIME LIMITS:
1. Each match consists of two rounds with a thirty second break.
2. Each round is four minutes in duration.
3. If a match is declared a draw after regulation time, the match continues with a two-minute sudden death overtime.
POINTS:
All points (except takedowns) awarded when position is held for three seconds.
Points will be awarded for the following positions:
1. 1 point takedown (knees, stomach, or back on the mat)
2. 1 point mount
3. 1 point back mount (with hooks or body triangle)
4. 3 points catch (near submission)
LEGAL TECHNIQUES:
1. All joint locks.
2. All chokes.
3. All kneebars and heel hooks.
4. All takedowns, throws and foot sweeps.
ILLEGAL TECHNIQUES:
1. No small joint manipulations.
2. No direct attack to the trachea.
3. No striking of any kind.
4. No eye gouging fish hooking.
5. No grabbing of clothing.
6. No chin in opponents face.
7. No thumbing, pinching or scratching.
8. No attacking opponents groin area.
9. No spiking opponents head on the mat.
10. No slams.
11. No grabbing the fence.
WINNING THE MATCH:
1. Opponent taps the mat or your body.
2. Opponent verbally submits to official.
3. The official feels your opponent is unable to continue.
4. Opponent fails to continue match after any round, takedown or submission attempt (15 second out rule).
5. Official declares the winner by points.
